COMDOR LLC is currently looking for the following position:
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ACCOUNTANT:
Comdor is a commercial door and hardware distributor in the construction industry and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated construction project accountant to provide customer billing support to Controller / Asst Controller.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare, review, and process customer billings in compliance with contract terms.
- Verify accuracy, complete, and return lien waivers to customers for payment.
- Support project closeout processes to ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve billing or financial issues.
- Project setup for small, medium-sized and/or moderate-level complex projects.
- Maintain job files (both hard files and electronic).
- Support project managers regarding contract documents, change orders, and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services related to project accounting and billing.
- Responsible for understanding and interpreting project contracts for billing terms.
- Meet with project managers monthly prior to billing (address current billing, project variances, and resolution of any issues).
- Prevailing (certified payroll) knowledge/experience a plus.
- Team oriented and customer focused, always striving to give customers the best solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.
- 1-3 years construction accounting desired.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Experience with Procore, Textura, GCPAY, Trimble Pay, etc. (and/or other construction management & accounting software/platforms).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills a must.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and flexible as interruptions are common.
- Willingness to assist others when needed.

COMPENSATION:
Comdor offers competitive salaries based on candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications for the position. The base salary compensation range for this position is $65,000-$90,000 annually.
